As a result, your home receives cleaner, clearer water for drinking, cooking, and use with appliances. The WGB21B-KS system provides high-performance filtration, with independent SGS testing confirming it removes up to 99% of various contaminants, including chlorine, lead, mercury, and other heavy metals. Notably, it achieves up to 96.34% chlorine reduction. The system uses a two-stage filtration approach, with Stage 1 featuring a CTO (Chlorine, Taste, and Odor) carbon block made from coconut shell activated carbon, and Stage 2 combining KDF and GAC to address any remaining chlorine, tastes, odors, and heavy metals.

The WGB21B-KS system offers impressive capacity and flow, with a rated capacity of up to 50,000 gallons, a 1-inch inlet/outlet, and a flow rate of up to 15 GPM. For ease of use, it comes preassembled on a mounting bracket and includes filter cartridges, a filter wrench, and a pressure release valve, making cartridge changes simpler and less messy. Recommended cartridge replacement is typically every 12 months, depending on local water conditions, ensuring long-term efficiency and reduced maintenance.

The WSP-100 prefilter works in tandem with the WGB21B-KS, capturing coarse particles like sand, rust, and sediment before they reach the main filters. Its 100-micron stainless steel mesh screen efficiently traps these larger particles, preventing clogging and damage to the primary filtration system. The solid lead-free brass head is designed for durability, and the filter offers connection options with 1-inch MNPT and 3/4-inch FNPT, as well as a garden hose-style flush outlet for easy debris purging. This prefilter is reusable and features a spin-down design that allows for regular flushing to remove trapped sediment, thus prolonging the life of the screen, which can last 1 to 2 years depending on conditions.
