Why isn’t the indicator light on the UVF50 lighting up?
The indicator light turns on only when water flows through the unit. If the light stays off, please check the power supply, ensure the plug is securely inserted, and confirm that the inlet and outlet tubes are correctly connected.

No. The UVF50 is equipped with a built-in flow sensor that activates the system only when water is running. This energy-saving design helps extend the lifespan of the LED module and improves overall efficiency.

Great product. Works well so far.

I just got this installed today and had an issue with leaks as I had bough some cheap pex knock off conections on a different site that were not up to speck. I ended up putting in the spare washers so I had two on both ends and wrapped about five wraps of plumbing tape arround the connections. Now its working well! :)

The water in our house is so much better!!!!!!

Just wanted to let everyone know that their customer support is outstanding. Robert is very knowledgeable and helped me greatly with my questions and concerns. having this filter system saves me from going to the store and having to fill up 5 gallon bottles and paying over $3 for each of them. Hopefully no more problems with ballast and lightbulbs

I was talking with Sean. I have the older UV light the 3 foot one And I was looking for lightbulbs. Sean told me about this new LED they had. The short story of this I was excited about the fact. It was LED and it wouldn��t stay on all the time and how long it would last. But the most important thing for me was it did not heat up the water in standby mode. Just had a short time but I��ve been using their products for years. Been happy.!!

ISPING UVF50

I purchased this product based to the LED and function only during water flow which extending the operating life time off the LED. The installation was straight forward. My unit though had an internal issue with the flow switch. It took a phone call a proof of purchase via e mail to Sean at Ispring customer service and I had a replacement in few days. Thank you Sean!! Great customer service. iSpring is a company that stays behind their product with equaly great warranty.

Working well so far!

After multiple chlorine shocks of our well and household water system the stink in our water heater kept returning. We tested negative for Coliform bacteria but something was definately growing in the tank. We decided to try UV filtration and we're pleased to find that LED-based units are now available. Not only does the UVF50 only run on demand but it also has no mercury lamps to replace or dispose of. Installation was relatively simple (I did have to extend the existing sediment filter loop in our plumbing to make room for it) and the unit seems well built and sturdy. It's been functioning without issue since install and our hot water remains odor free. We hope it lasts as long as the estimated lifespan we're a relatively light water usage household so we look forward to years of service.

New UV Filter is a HUGE leap forward over competing products!

This new UV Filter is a HUGE leap forward from the previous generations you find on the internet. It is much more compact at approximately 12 than the common 36 ones available. But the main key is that the bulb in it has a 10+ year working life... face it most people aren't going to remember to change their bulb every year.Sean in Sales/Tech Support guided me to this new product and I am happy he did!
