Huge filter

Huge filter. Not going to fit under the sink. This is a whole house filter, not point of use.But it is a great filter. Given the rural water supply is somewhat questionable, this make it good.Nothing special needed to install, just standard hardware store fittings.Does have a warning to keep below 120°, so at least a somewhat protected area and not in a metal building in AZ in the summer.

Heavy Duty, Straightforward Installation

The iSpring WHO Series whole house water filtration system sets a new standard for home water treatment, offering an upgraded horizontal slide-in design that makes cartridge changes effortless. Combining commercial-grade capacity with rock-solid construction and clear user guidance, it provides a reliable, stress-free water filtration solution that easily meets the demands of a family of five for an entire year.Heavy-Duty Sturdiness and Innovative Slide-In HousingBuilt around a freestanding, heavy-duty all-metal frame, this system impresses immediately with its outstanding build quality and structural rigidity. Moving away from traditional vertical filters, the upgraded zero-gravity horizontal housing system with a built-in drain valve lets you slide cartridges in and out without lifting heavy water-filled canisters. To make maintenance completely foolproof, iSpring incorporated a smart Seal Mark feature that lets you align the logo for a perfect seal every time, eliminating any guesswork and protecting the double O-rings from overtightening damage.High-Capacity Filtration for a Family of FiveUtilizing commercial-grade 20" x 4.5" jumbo filter cartridges, the system delivers an impressive flow rate of up to 15 GPM without causing noticeable water pressure drop in household plumbing. Rated for up to 100,000 gallons or 12 months of continuous use, its massive capacity comfortably serves a busy family of five for a full year before requiring a filter change. The multi-stage filtration effectively reduces chlorine, sediment, rust, pesticides, VOCs, and over 1,000 contaminants, delivering clean, clear, odor-free water to every faucet and shower while retaining beneficial natural minerals. I also appreciate there are a number of filter options depending on your particular circumstances and needs.Clear Instructions, YouTube Guides, and Simple SetupInstalling a whole house system can feel intimidating, but iSpring makes the process straightforward thanks to clear written instructions and step-by-step YouTube video tutorials. The official YouTube guides walk you through every stage of the installation, making plumbing setup approachable for confident DIYers. With standard 1" FNPT inlet and outlet connections, push-in quick-connect fittings, and non-proprietary industry-standard replacement filters that are widely available and cost-effective, long-term ownership is simple, convenient, and affordable.Overall SummaryThe iSpring WHO Series system is a top-tier whole house filtration unit that excels in convenience, capacity, and construction quality. With its high-capacity 100,000-gallon filter life that is convenient for a family of five, sturdy metal frame, foolproof seal alignment, and helpful YouTube installation guides, it delivers clean, great-tasting water throughout your entire home with minimal maintenance hassle.

Whole house filter performance after one week

Unit installed one week ago. Easy installation with only two little leaks. Eliminated by switching to 1 NPT Pvc Coupling to 3/4 cpvc pipe. Performance is fantastic love the horizontal filter change orientation and great water flow rate. Increased water delivery across the entire home.Highly recommend this unit water quality is so good when I compare to my reverse osmosis system performance i am now considering eliminating the pre-filter stages before the osmosis membrane filter.

Exceptional Filtration System, But Requires Ample Installation Space

This is truly an outstanding whole-house filtration system, but prospective buyers should take careful note of its massive physical proportions. Prior to committing to a purchase, it is imperative to thoroughly measure your intended installation area, whether that be a dedicated utility room, a water closet, or the main line entry point, to ensure adequate spatial clearance. Additionally, the unit possesses significant heft, weighing in at approximately 70 pounds. Provided you have properly accounted for the necessary physical footprint and structural support, it serves as a phenomenal, highly effective long-term investment.

Well Designed System and Much Easier to Maintain

This is a really impressive whole house filtration system, and one of the biggest things that sets it apart for me is the design. Changing the huge traditional whole house filter housings can be a pain, especially once they are full of water. Having the filters positioned horizontally so they can slide in and out makes routine filter changes much more manageable. The entire system feels substantial and well made. The metal frame is sturdy and allows the unit to stand on its own, which also gives you more flexibility when deciding where to install it. I really appreciate that iSpring uses standard 20 by 4.5 inch filters instead of locking you into some unusual proprietary cartridge. Replacement filters are readily available, and you have more options when it comes time to replace them. The three stage filtration is another big advantage. We are on well water, so having filtration for sediment, rust, odors, and other contaminants before the water travels throughout the house is particularly useful. I also like that this type of system filters the water without removing all of the naturally occurring minerals the way reverse osmosis does. There are several smaller design details that I appreciate too. The built in drain makes servicing the system easier, and the markings on the housings take some of the guesswork out of tightening everything correctly. Anyone who has dealt with a leaking filter housing because an O ring shifted or the housing was overtightened will understand why those little details matter. This is a large system, so you definitely need to plan out your installation space ahead of time, but that is expected for filters with this kind of capacity and flow rate. Once installed, it is designed to handle the water supply for the entire house rather than just one faucet.Overall, this feels like a thoughtfully designed upgrade over the traditional whole house filter setups I have dealt with. The combination of large standard filters, sturdy construction, good flow capacity, and a much easier filter changing design makes this a system I am very happy with.

Fantastic

Love my ispring6. I change this filter every few months. It turns orange with the city water. When I test it, it is fine, but I hate looking at the dark orange for 3 more months….had company over and he said, “is this that ‘living water?’” Loved the taste. And when the ispring techs help you, they really help! Very happy with both I talked to. Got me up and running when I made a boo-boo during multifilter change.
