Features

Outstanding Performance

The reverse osmosis system effectively eliminates more than 1,000 contaminants, such as lead, chlorine, and fluoride, with a high flow rate up to 0.7 gallons per minute. It utilizes advanced filtration technology featuring a 3-in-1 composite filter, an RO membrane, and a post carbon filter, resulting in exceptional filtration performance.

Simply click and lock filters

With the RO1000, the epitome of advanced RO systems, you can effortlessly replace filters in a matter of seconds. Its ingenious click and lock filter replacement feature allows you to change filters securely and swiftly within 5 seconds. Note: Before replacing the filter, turn off the water supply, turn on the tap, and drain the remaining water.

Intelligent Smart RO System

The RO1000 boasts a Smart Panel that illuminates the "ON" light while dispensing water and remains lit during standby. Additionally, the panel has a filter life monitor that uses a blue light to indicate a good filter life and a red light to signal a replacement is needed. When it's time to change the filter, the machine will beep to alert you.

The Core of iSpring RO1000

RO1000 comprises 3 filter stages, each meticulously engineered to systematically eliminate impurities and enhance water quality:

Stage 1 FCF1000(Composite Filter):Removes impurities like chlorine, unpleasant taste, odor, cloudiness & coloring as well as particles like dirt, sand, silt, rust and scale.

Stage 2 MC1000(Reverse Osmosis Membrane): Removes lead (up to 98%) chlorine, fluoride, arsenic, hormones, asbestos, calcium, sodium and other contaminants using 0.0001 micron membrane.

Stage 3 FPC1000(Post Carbon Filter): Enhances taste while effectively eliminating even strong odor

Depending on quality & consumption of water:

  • Stage 1 Composite Filter: usually lasts for a full year
  • Stage 2 1000 GPD RO Membrane: replaced every 2-3 years depending on source water quality
  • Stage 3 Carbon Block: usually lasts for a full year

Maximizing Water Usage Efficiency while Reducing Waste

With its cutting-edge technology, the RO1000 membrane showcases an impressive capability to generate up to 1000 gallons of clean water daily. Its remarkable maximum ratio of 2:1 pure water to wastewater sets it apart. This outstanding efficiency allows the system to save up to 400% more water than conventional RO systems, making it an ideal choice for individuals seeking to prioritize water conservation. By opting for the RO1000, you not only benefit from its advanced features but also contribute significantly to sustainable water usage.

Easy Install, Compact, and Leak-Free

I’ve been using this reverse osmosis system for about three months now, and it’s been working great. Installation was straightforward, and I like that it has a small footprint under the sink, leaving plenty of room for storage. Most importantly, I’ve had zero leaks or issues since installing it.A couple of notes for anyone planning their install:* I didn’t use the included drain saddle adapter because I couldn’t—and didn’t want to—drill into my existing drain plumbing. Instead, I purchased an aftermarket drain adapter that connects to the garbage disposal (pictured), which worked perfectly.* I also chose to use a different faucet/dispenser so it would match the finish of my existing kitchen faucet.Overall, I’m very happy with this brand and system. I also installed a 2 stage whole house filter from this brand. I would definitely recommend it. It performs well, was easy to install, and has been trouble-free so far.I

Great tasting water, smooth install

The water tastes amazing and fills faster than my fridge dispenser. (although it's not "fast" by any means, it's more than sufficient.) Now that it's installed, I wish I would have installed it years ago. Nitrate levels are high in Iowa and this unit lowers them to near zero, along with removing other harmful contaminates. The part that held me back for so long was drilling a hole in my granite countertop. It ended up being not bad at all. Just buy a quality diamond drill bit made for stone/granite and watch a few videos on youtube. I bought the Milwaukee 1/2 inch diamond bit and it worked flawlessly. 1/2 inch is the right size for the faucet that comes with this unit.As far as other complaints or concerns from the reviews:I didn't have any leaks at all after installing. Take your time and make sure connections are tight.Install overall took about 2 hours including drilling the hole in the countertop. What took me so long was my own fault- I ended up having to remove my dishwasher and pull the power cord through the hole in the cabinet where the dishwasher had power. I didn't think about how the open power outlet with the garbage disposal only works when the switch is on.Noise: it makes a bit of noise while you're dispensing water, but it's not loud at all under the sink. I barely hear it.Size: the unit isn't small but doesn't take up that much space under the counter.Overall I highly recommend this unit. I've only had it a few days but so far it's been amazing.

Exceptional filter system and company!

I have spent a ridiculous amount of time researching RO system over the past few years and finally pulled the trigger and bought this one. In short, I'm glad I did!We already have a whole house filter and our refrigerator also has a drinking water filter. Myself, I wasn't overly concerned about using that water, but with all the talk about all the chemicals and crap that's in our water, my wife decided so would no longer even drink that water and turned to drink bottled spring water, which has nano plastics in it and produces all that plastic waste from all those bottles. So, in light of all that, I decided that now was the time to get an RO system.Having experience with the typical RO systems that have the tank and all the tubing running everywhere, I knew I wanted a tankless system. They're also so much more efficient and produce much more water and take up far less space. I spent several more weeks going back through all the options and finally narrowed it down to two systems; the Waterdrop G3, and this iSpring RO500AK-BN, with the iSpring being the clear winner for a number of reasons.First, the company is amazing and they are located near Atlanta, where we live. Whenever I've called to ask questions, they just pick of the phone and are so helpful and personable. Michelle answered all my questions and I felt confident I was getting a system that met our needs. I absolutely love iSpring and feel that I will always have top-notch support for this product, should I ever need it.Secondly, I love that this system has the remineralizer built in, so you don't need to add an additional filter inline. This makes filter changes so simple and reduces connection points. This was important to me, knowing that my wife could easily maintain the system herself if she ever needs to.Those were the main reasons that stood out before I got the system. Now that we have it installed and have been using it for a while, I find many more reasons why I'm happy we chose this one. It's super-easy to install and comes with everything needed, provided that you have an electrical outlet located where you plan to install this. You do not need to be a plumber to install this. If you don't have an existing outlet, you will need to install one (or have an electrician do it, if you're not able to.) Luckily, we already had power under the sink for the disposal, so I had no problems converting the hard-wired disposal to a half-hot outlet, which now controls the disposal via the existing switch and provides a hot outlet for the RO system. All the parts and materials are extremely high quality. The system is super-quiet when operating! Seriously, I can barely hear it if the room is completely quiet. I've read that others are quite noisy; not this one.It takes up almost no space in our cabinet! (Still have room for all the crap that was in that cabinet.)Operation is simple and intuitive. It has color-coded indicators that show filter status, as well as audible alerts when filters are nearing end of life and/or need changing.Changing filters is as easy as it gets and takes literally 10 seconds. The design of the filters is also so much better than on traditional RO systems, where I've often had the main O-rings go bad, leaks, etc. These should never have any of those problem because of they way they're designed. The included faucet is high quality and beautiful! It's listed as 'brushed nickel', but it blends perfectly with our stainless steel faucet, so I think it's more of the blend of brushed nickel and stainless. IDK, but it just looks very nice! The flow rate is amazing and even faster than our fridge water dispenser. It can also produce up to 500 gallons of water per day and the flow rate is continuous, unlike typical RO systems that slow down to a trickle when the tank runs out.It has a 2:1 pure to drain ratio, compared with 1:2 or 1:2.5 of a traditional RO system. And, most importantly, it produces the best tasting water I've ever had!All things considered, this is the best system I've seen in the $500-ish price range. You get a lot of bang for the buck with this one and exceptional quality and support. I actually like it better than some I've seen that are closers to $800-$900, which still don't have all the features of this one. Also, mine included a card to register for a 3-year extended warranty, which is really nice and added piece of mind. If you buy one, be sure to register it. I was getting an error when trying to register on their website, but I was told to just send an e-mail request and Sean responded the same day to advise that my warranty was registered. (Did I mention how helpful the iSpring folks are?)All things considered, I highly recommend this system and iSpring as a whole. I paid for this system and received no compensation for this review. In fact, I passed up on a couple of similar systems that were offered to me for free and instead decided this was what I wanted and purchased it myself.

Plumber Recommended

I had an RO system with a tank, but I kept having minor issues. My plummer friend Kevin recommended this product. He was particularly pleased that it removes alkaline.I just followed the directions for installation. It was easy to install with no leaks on the first try. Though, I had Kevin check out my work just to be sure. It is about the size of a slim desktop computer and fits nicely against the side wall of the sink cabinet.I really like that it is tankless, so filtered water is immediate and always available. This becomes important in winter since I use humidifiers that call for purified water. It was much more expensive than the previous system, but as in all things, you get what you pay for.

5 stars — highly recommended

I've been using iSpring products for years, from simple whole-house filters to more advanced multi-stage filtration systems. Throughout that time, their products have consistently been easy to install, straightforward to maintain, and have worked flawlessly right out of the box.Recently, I purchased the UVF8 LED UV Water Filter and was surprised when it didn't perform as expected—the indicator light wasn't illuminating during water flow. Rather than going through Amazon, I contacted iSpring support directly to make sure I wasn't overlooking something. That's when I connected with John from iSpring Support. His customer service was outstanding. Instead of putting me through a lengthy troubleshooting process, he quickly arranged to send a replacement filter directly to me and even included custom shipping instructions to ensure smooth delivery. The replacement arrived promptly, and it worked perfectly from the moment I installed it.In all the years I've been using iSpring products, I've never had a reason to contact their support team before. It was reassuring to discover that their commitment to customer satisfaction is every bit as impressive as the quality of their products. They truly stand behind what they sell. This experience has only strengthened my confidence in iSpring. Great products backed by exceptional customer service have earned my loyalty, and they'll continue to be my first choice for water filtration solutions.

before and after testing

I have been using the RO500AK-ORB system for two years so far. Excellent results! Very pleased! I highly recommend! Here is a report of before and after measurements plus some comments of my experience with it. To make my measurements, I used the KONVIO NEER 5-in-1 TDS meter. I did 2-point calibration of the concentration as well as the pH before each measurement.TDS of tap water before RO was 240 ppm. With RO is 19 ppm.The taste is great. Flow rate is strong. Cartridge replacement is easy.I am also using the FA15 alkaline add-on filter for the purpose of raising Mag level and pH.Initially it produced an unpalatable earthy taste, however this resolved completely after flushing for 15 minutes. This is an important step. Tastes great now. Here is the information that I received from an iSpring chemist by email:The average ppm rating for the FA15 is 10 to 40 ppm and approx. 30% of the 10 to 40 avg. is magnesium. The RO500AK only adds back calcium, unlike the FA15 which contains magnesium oxide. The FCA500 has only activated carbon and calcite. In my own case, the rise in TDS with the alkaline filter was from 19 to 36. This is an increase of just 17, not as high as I was hoping. My interest was in restoring magnesium level, since Mag in water >8-10ppm has been shown to correlate with better cardiovascular health. Based on information from my local water facility, my river source carries 11ppm Mag to start with, so I was hoping to replenish that Mag level with the alkaline filter. With a rise of 17 ppm, this means I added only 5ppm of Mag.Additionally, I was hoping for a rise of pH level, since there are claims that alkaline water is healthier because of enhanced water absorption, hence hydration efficiency. Not sure if those claims are well founded or not. In any case, my pH rose from 7 to 7.3, which is much less than the 1 full unit of pH increase that is being advertised.I absolutely love the RO filtration system!Less enthusiastic about the performance of the alkaline filter, but it's an add-on that is optional anyway.

Great but noisy

This is a well-built, high-quality, and fairly-priced reverse osmosis system. It came with very clear instructions and was simple to install. No leaks. Pressure as advertised. But what wasn’t advertised is the noise. When you turn this on to draw water from the faucet, it hums quite loudly. Thankfully, this is down below behind the closed doors of my kitchen counter. But opened up, this would be obnoxiously loud. Also, when you draw water and turn the faucet off, exactly 5 minutes later it will run again to discharge water and clean the membrane from a filter. This runs for a full 60 seconds and makes both the humming sound and the discharge sound in the drain.I’m very happy with this unit and the water quality is amazing. However, the noise was something not made available as a purchasing decision.

Great RO1000 System and Support

The iSpring RO1000 came with everything needed for installation along with clear easy-to-follow instructions. The system works exactly as we expected.Like all tankless RO units there is a small 1C2 second delay when turning on the drinking faucet while the pump starts up. It would be nice if the system included a small micro-tank to eliminate that momentary lag (though of course it wouldnt be tankless anymore).Overall the water quality is excellent the build is solid and the customer service has been very good as well.Highly recommended.

Great Customer service

Sean was extremely helpful with my faucet exchange for the RO1000 system. He arranged the correct replacement (GA3-ORB) waived the swap fee. The RO1000 system is working well as expected. Fast clear and friendly service. Thank you.

Outstanding Results, Great Support from iSpring

I purchased a RO-500AK under sink tankless RO water filter about a year ago. The unit was extremely easy to install and the instructions were thorough and included pictures. I was amazed at how compact the unit is compared to my previous under sink filter system. The unit has filter minders that give a purple indication that a filter change is upcoming (about 30 days) and then a red indicator when it is time to change just performed my second filter change (the alkalinity filter at 6 months and the alkalinity and composite filters at 1-year) and I am amazed at how easy the process is, just a quarter turn counter clockwise, remove the old filter, insert the new one, a quarter turn back clockwise and its done.Once I had the filter installed, I gave the system the ultimate test. I poured two identical glasses of water, held my breath, and called my wife into the room. I asked her to do a blind taste test and choose her favorite. She immediately chose the iSpring filtered water, claiming that it tasted "cleaner". She has turned into quite the water aficionado, and uses it to cook as well as drinking. The water has such a clean taste we prefer it to tap and bottled water.Like many, I use a CPAP nightly. The unit has to be filled nightly with distilled water, so I bought a small countertop distiller to "make" my own water. The unit distills the water by boiling then recondensing the water into an outside container. All of the sediment and minerals are left in the boiling chamber. I was horrified at the sludge that remained after distilling a single gallon of water and had to clean it after each gallon. Now that I use my iSpring filtered water in the distiller, I distill 4 gallons of water each session with there being hardly any sediment or mineral scaling and can wipe it clean with a paper towel. What an added bonus! After my last filter change I inadvertently kinked the water supply line resulting in a no-flow condition. I used the contact icon tool and left a message about my issue. Myra contacted me promptly via email requesting a detailed description of what I had done and pictures of the unit. Don called me the next morning to help troubleshoot the filter system. He walked me through various steps of troubleshooting, had me text him pictures and worked to resolve the issue. When I moved the unit out from under the sink, the kink was eliminated and my unit was functioning normally again. I was somewhat embarrassed that I had tied up the support staff with something that was my fault, but he remained on the line and made sure that the system was 100% restored. Talk about customer focused service, these guys set the example and stand behind their product. If you are considering an undersink RO filter for your family, I highly recommend iSpring and this product and the company behind it. You know what they say "happy wife, happy life", she was so concerned about not having the filter available . I am just glad that we were able to get the filter back online quickly. You can buy this item with confidence! If you have any questions about it, let me know. Thanks
