Excellent Water Filter — Great Product and Outstanding Customer Support

We’ve been using iSpring for almost three years now, and our whole family absolutely loves it. The RCD100 is incredibly convenient, especially because it provides hot water instantly. Making tea takes seconds, and I personally love drinking warm water first thing in the morning — it has become part of my daily morning routine. The unit is easy to use, convenient, and something our family uses every single day. I’ve actually recommended it to several of my friends, and a few of them have already purchased iSpring systems and are very happy with them as well.I also want to mention the excellent customer service. When I recently needed support, iSpring was very responsive. My representative, Nick, was extremely helpful and resolved my issue even faster than I expected. It’s great to know that the company stands behind its products and takes care of its customers.Highly recommend the iSpring RCD100 to anyone looking for a convenient countertop water filtration system with hot water and excellent customer support!

Highly recommend counter top system.

I have had this system for a while now and it has been a great machine that produces great tasting high Ph water. Big thanks to the sales rep Sean for great communication and customer service.

Thank you Sean for the awesome service!

I Love this Osmosis system and Sean was so very helpful in getting my warranty activated and the correct 2 year filter replacement system sent out to me. This has been a very good and rare customer service experience.

Easy tasty water

My parents got me this system as a housewarming gift and its been great! The tap water right now tastes like lakewater due to the algae bloom in the local reservoir but this machine makes it taste great again and quickly dispenses hot water for ramen and tea. Setup was as easy as finding a spot on the countertop filling the water tank and plugging it in. The instructions are clear and there are a ton of options for how much water to dispense at a time and water temp (including a formula temp for mixing baby formula). Ive replaced my zojirushi water boiler with this since the hot water function is integrated and so fast. The only thing I wish I could change is to make the dispenser height a little higher so that my sodastream bottles fit underneath. Right now its just a quarter inch short so I need to pour the water directly from the pitcher into the sodastream bottle (first world problems I know). Overall its been great and made me want to drink plain water again!

Amazing Service from Sean C Great Upgrade!

This is a wonderful machine and I cannot express enough appreciation for the customer service provided by this company. Sean was exceptionally helpful in resolving my broken filter issue. He communicated effectively and replaced my unit with an upgraded version. Although the pitcher spout has a minor design imperfection causing a slight leak when pouring the machine itself operates perfectly. Due to Sean's assistance and the company's commitment to their product I would certainly make future purchases from them.

Perfect Rental Solution

We are renting hence we cant install an RO system under the sink. This system was the perfect solution! Our city water tastes and smells like it comes from a swimming pool but when we run it through this RO system we enjoy the taste and feel confident in drinking it.

We are very satisfied with this Countertop RO system. We put a fair amount of research into purchasing a countertop RO system and concluded that the iSpring RCD100HCG was the best product to fit our needs. We are happy to say that we were right! It is an extremely easy and convenient product to use, it has excellent functions, and the real-time TDS meter is very handy reading to ensure the safety of our drinking water.

We also had a wonderful customer service experience with Nick. We had some issues on set-up and it was very easy to get in contact with Nick and he responded promptly and courteously with a solution. Thank you for all of your help, Nick!

Excellent service and water filter system!

Purchased this product in March 2026 to try a countertop style filtration system and our family of 5 love this product. We can brew hot teas with the 220 degrees temperature water option instantly too. This one from iSpring at least has USA support when the troubleshooting happened recently . Easy to assemble out of the box. Product worked great for 6 months then it suddenly would be on E1 error mode. Others have reported similar issues in Amazon reviews. Still giving it 5 stars as the customer service from Nick was awesome and fast. We received a replacement unit without hassle in a few days and are set up again. I will update review if we experience further problems. Thank you again Nicholas for your help!

We Love our iSpring!

We are a family of five and, before purchasing our iSpring system, we were buying 8–10 cases of 16 oz bottled water from Costco at a time. Since getting our iSpring, we have stopped buying bottled water altogether! The water tastes great, it’s incredibly convenient, and it has made a huge difference for our family. We recently needed to contact iSpring customer service for assistance, and I have to give a huge shout-out to Nick. He was amazing! He was responsive, helpful, and made sure we were completely taken care of. He has also followed up with us to make sure everything was good, which you just don’t see very often anymore. It’s refreshing to deal with a company that not only makes a great product but also provides excellent customer service and follows through after the fact. Our only regret is that we wish we would have taken the leap and ordered the sparkling water option too!We couldn’t be happier with our iSpring system or the support we received from Nick. Highly recommend!

It is a countertop water filter. It filters water. From the top of your counter.

I've only had this for about a week but I quite like it. There's no plumbing needed, you just refill the tank on the back. There is a bit of a setup process, as you have to flush the filters, which involves running a few tanks of water through the system and dumping it out. (Protip: when it says to empty the tank, they mean you should dump out what's left in the tank and then refill it. Dumping it out is important, as I will soon explain!)Things I didn't know about countertop reverse-osmosis filters but now do: it's not just that "water passes through a filter". It's more like "good water passes through the filter and polluted water gets left on the other side". The tank actually gets the polluted water put back into it (though the design makes it impossible to send the worst of it back through the system). Consequently, you'll see the TDS ("total dissolved solids") count keep going up as your tank gets lower. For better filter life, you should probably just empty it and refill it when it gets down to the last third or so. (The climbing TDS will remind you anyway.)Anyway, the clean, filtered water passes through into a pitcher on the side. If you want a glass of room temperature filtered water you can just use that pitcher. If you want it chilled or heated, you can use the dispenser on the front. (It also comes with 2 pitchers so you could fill one and put it in the refrigerator and then put the other one on the system to fill up.) For cold water, you should activate the cooler ahead of time. For the most part, the unit sits idle and completely silent. Presumably the cooler has to wake up now and then but I never seem to catch it in the act. It works, though. And the hot water is just a couple degrees under boiling, so plenty hot enough for tea.Note that they do say that this is intended to filter city water. It would presumably work on, say, lake water, but that's not what it's meant for and I suspect you'd ruin your filters a lot faster. I'm not sure how long the filters last in a practical sense but I'm still on full "4 bars" and I'm putting everything I drink through this. The output tastes great (well, you know, tastes like clean water anyway) and while I think the interface could be easier to use (a totally separate section for the quantity selection might be nice) I'm happy with it.I will update if I have any issues but it also came with a free 3-year extended warranty which I have not filled out or read yet so I can't speak too much to that, nor is it clear if every unit will always come with that.

Good product

My family loves the machine for our daily water use. It is nice to have both the cold water and room temperature water. We had the room temperature only machine at first. While you do have to change the water cassette more frequently if you down water like we do it is not a hassle to do so. We called to order our the newer model and Nick made the process easy and the new machine arrived earlier than expected. Good product and customer service.

Very good water filter and customer service

I have been using this water filter for over a year now and it has been excellent. It offers both hot and cold water options is simple to use and very easy to understand. The wide range of filtration options has made everyday life much more convenient. I also want to highlight the outstanding customer service I received from Nick at iSpring. When one of my filters was nearing the end of its life and stock was limited Nick responded quickly restocked the filter and even provided a complimentary replacement which was a pleasant surprise and showed his dedication to customers. He had also helped me earlier with an installation issue resolving it quickly and efficiently. Overall I have had a great experience and will continue using iSpring products and I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a water filtration system.

Good hot water dispenser and customer service if it breaks

Purchased this product in October 2025 to replace a much lower cost one from another manufacturer that had stopped working after about a year. This one from iSpring at least has USA support. Easy to assemble out of the box by following the YouTube video. Product worked great for 6 months then it suddenly would not turn on. Others have reported similar issues in Amazon reviews. Still giving it 4 stars as the customer service from Nick was awesome and fast. We received a replacement unit without hassle in a few days and are set up again. I will update review if we experience further problems.

The perfect RO water system for us

After quite some research on a few brands of RO water systems we settled on this new model from iSpring. This unit showcases a thought-through design that caters to all practical needs in our daily lives. It features a finely adjustable temperature control allowing you to set it to cold for refreshing ice drinks or hot for a soothing cup of tea and anything in between from formula to hot coffee. Additionally you can set a range of volumes so it dispenses the right volume for different sizes of cups mugs and water bottles which is so much more convenient than other models. The pure water pitcher is a genius feature that eliminates the wait for water. My impatient family members no longer have to endure long waits and they can now pour water instantly. In addition the company behind the product is a US company in the water filtration industry for over 2 decades with a dedicated US-based customer service team. The product comes with a 3-year extended warranty after registration. We contacted customer service representative Nick who is incredibly responsive and professional in resolving our issue. We highly recommend this model; life is short and better with this RCD100HCG RO system from iSpring.

Love the iSpring

We’ve had the iSpring RCD100 5-Stage Countertop Reverse Osmosis System in our home for a while now, and it’s become something our whole family uses every single day. We absolutely love it. It’s made it so easy to have clean, great-tasting water on demand without dealing with our hard water issues. I love the way it heats up water. We never have to boil water for tea!One of the biggest reasons I wanted this system was to get chlorine and that typical tap-water taste out of what we drink, and it’s done exactly that. The water tastes noticeably cleaner and smoother. We use it constantly throughout the day for fresh drinking water, tea, and my daughter uses it for hot chocolate, which has actually become a little routine in our house. The unit itself has been very easy to use and convenient as a countertop solution. Setup was straightforward, and it’s been reliable since day one.I also want to call out the customer support. The distributor was extremely helpful, and Sean in particular went above and beyond. He was quick to respond, genuinely kind, and made sure every question and need we had was handled right away. That level of support makes a big difference when you’re buying something for your home that your family depends on.Overall, this has been a great purchase for us. Clean, great-tasting water, instant hot water for drinks, simple to use, and backed by excellent customer service. Highly recommended for any family, especially if you’re dealing with hard water.

Can't buy replacement filters

iSpring has been out of stock on one of the required filters (FPCA100) for months. Regardless of how good the filter system is without all the required filters it is a $600 paper weight. I called a couple months ago and was told they would be in stock in a week and they're still not available.Avoid this one at all costs.

FAQs

I keep getting reminders to refill my system, even though there's still water left in the tank. Why?

Dear customer, it is important to understand that waste water is generated during the filtration process of any reverse osmosis system, including the iSpring RCD100HCG. This waste water is stored separately within the tank after the filtration process is complete. To maintain optimal system performance, please ensure that you completely empty the tank before refilling it.

Why does the baffle in the tank sometimes allow waste water to flow back into the source water section? Will this affect the quality of my filtered water?

Rest assured, this won't impact the quality of your filtered water. In fact, it's part of the innovative design aimed at maximizing the use of source water and minimizing waste. The waste water is cycled back into the raw water tank and initially mixed with the raw water. As it accumulates more contaminants, it's separated in the waste water cube to prevent it from being filtered again, ensuring the RO membrane isn't exposed to water outside its optimal range. So while it might seem unusual, it is actually a deliberate feature designed to optimize the system's efficiency and resource utilization.

I noticed that my source water TDS is around 500 ppm and the output is around 50 ppm. However, I also have a traditional 5-stage RO system installed which can reduce TDS down to 30 ppm. Is this level of TDS reduction normal for this system?

Yes, please rest assured that it's completely normal. Unlike traditional 5-stage RO systems, the RCD100HCG is specifically designed to not only remove contaminants but also replenish beneficial minerals to balance pH levels and enhance taste. This mineral addition contributes to a slightly higher TDS reading. It's crucial to understand that while reducing TDS is important, it's not the sole factor determining water quality. According to the EPA, TDS is considered as a secondary standard for drinking water quality. Instead of solely aiming for extremely low to zero TDS, it's important to find a balance between eliminating harmful contaminants and preserving essential minerals. Additionally, regular maintenance such as filter replacements and sanitization of water tanks is also crucial for maintaining optimal performance and water quality.

I've heard about this thermoelectric cooler thing. What exactly is it and how does it compare to the standard compressor cooling approach?

Thermoelectric cooling technology is an innovative cooling method that offers several advantages over traditional compressors. It consumes less power, takes up less space, and operates more silently. While they may produce cold water slightly slower than compressors, as long as the system has a maintained power supply, there is no noticeable gap or delay in the user experience. Additionally, thermoelectric coolers require minimal maintenance, making them a convenient and efficient choice for water cooling systems. However, please note that the lowest temperature that can be reached with thermoelectric coolers is 50°F, slightly higher than the 41°F that compressors can achieve. While this difference may not be significant for most users, it's something to consider depending on individual preferences and needs.
