For one the UV filter is built very well and compact. I use this UV sanitizer with a filter with our campsite hookup in our motorhome to disinfect the well water.

Extremely fast and easy installation! Filtered water was available within minutes. Love the quick glance light to know the filter is working.

Very easy to hook in to plumbing. 3/4 threaded male in and out. I added a shut off valve at the input. I wound up placing it after the sprinkler pipes to avoid wasting the UV cleaning on the lawn watering. So it is essentially being used for all of the household and drinking water supplies. The water tastes great. No issues and no smells. I sometimes smell an over chlorination scent in our water but I have not experienced the smell since I have this unit hooked in. Looks and feels solid. The LED light in the front of the unit indicates the status of the system. Very easy and quick to see.

This UV water filter is a great choice for improving water safety. We ended up not needing someone to come install it they provide detailed instructions and video on how to install it yourself. It is pretty light weight for a filter and hasn��t had any problems yet.

It is a powerful and reliable whole house water purification system that works exactly as described. The long life LED design is a huge plus seeing that there no need for frequent bulb change. Also the automatic flow control makes it very efficient. A very smart investment for improving overall water quality at home.

Very simple install only took me 10 minutes. I need to get a shorter flexible hose so I can mount it on the wall. I am on a well so hopefully this kills any bacteria. Doesn't take up much space. Once you plug it in the lights turn on to let you know it's working. Hopefully this is a better alternative to the bleach I've been putting in my well all these years. Very nice compact and easy to install product. I give it a 5 out of five.

Very nice product that works for the whole house but it does take a while and some patience to install. Pretty easy maintenance expected once installed professionally.

DIY is possible if you��re handy but many users end up preferring professional install especially with UV systems needing correct positioning and flow setup.Size:On the larger side for a UV unit. It��s designed for whole-house flow so you��ll need decent space near your main water line or where your filtration system is mounted. Not ideal for tight utility closets.Construction:Solid overall. Typically stainless steel chamber with a sturdy housing��feels durable and built for long-term use. UV units like this are simple internally which helps reliability.Odor:Doesn��t directly remove odor (UV kills bacteria not chemicals) but when paired with pre-filters it helps keep water fresh by preventing microbial smells from developing.Noise:Very quiet. No moving parts��just a faint electrical hum at most. Once installed you��ll barely notice it.

We had just installed a carbon filter and a water conditioner system to our home recipes with PEX and shortly after the frost that hit Florida we began to smell sulphur. Our tankless water heater was my first suspect but lacking the magnesium rod everyone spoke of eliminated that as an option. The only other culprit left after some intense research through plumbing forums was a biological component. We tried flushing the system only to have the smell back in days. Flushed the water heater next but had the same result. Turned up the water heater temp to the max but still no solution. Then I bought this unit added two push connect water heater hoses of corrugated metal to eliminate the UV degradation of the PEX lines and poured in a bottle of non bleach sanitizer suggested by several plumbers as a quick but fleeting fix. We ran the sanitizer through all plumbing lines of the house and left for the weekend. On returning the UV filter ran as we flushed the entire system without an issue and now (3 weeks later) we are still enjoying sulphur free water and a total lack of the usual biofilm buildup on our faucets. There is zero evidence of this filter affecting the flow rate into the house and it turns on automatically when the water is running for peak efficiency. It has a zero delay startup. I am going to install a second unit under the kitchen sink to help enhance the life of our zero water dispenser system filters that begin to smell of fish after a month of use after we finish the three month testing phase to see if that second filter will be needed. Installation is so simple that I would be genuinely surprised to hear someone state that it took more than two hours depending on the plumbing being taped into. PEX with push connect water heater hoses took less than one full minute. It took longer to secure the unit to the wall.

These guys are great and their support has been outstanding. The phone line always goes directly to someone that has the answers. I've been operating a UV water system in my brewery for about 4 years. When an unusual situation arose with a possibly malfunctioning ballast I was upgraded to a complete and newer LED version filter. It's much more compact and streamlined. Amazing!
