Product Description
The RO1200 tankless reverse osmosis water filtration system is designed to meet the real needs of modern families by delivering the right water for every task. Its dual-flow faucet provides carbon-filtered water with strong flow for washing fruits and vegetables, while RO purified water is reserved for drinking, cooking, and baby formula, helping avoid unnecessary RO use and extend membrane life.
With a high-flow 1200 GPD tankless design, RO1200 delivers fresh, purified water on demand without the need for a bulky storage tank, saving valuable under-sink space. The system features an industry-leading 3:1 pure-to-drain ratio, producing more clean water with less wastewater compared to traditional RO systems.
Real-time TDS monitoring allows you to clearly see the difference between unfiltered and purified water, while automatic flushing and filter life reminders make maintenance simple and predictable. Combined with multi-stage filtration that effectively reduces chlorine, heavy metals, PFAS, TDS, and other contaminants, RO1200 offers a reliable, family-friendly solution for everyday clean water needs.

Positives and Negatives

Negative:-If you run it past 30 minutes it shuts off which I ran into when flushing the system so there is an extra cost of buying a remote on-off switch so no one has to crawl under the sink to unplug the system and plug it back in too reset it or even change filters. Needs a power/reset switch or switches on the main ro unit. One of the main selling points of a tankless system is supposed ease of use.-Not a continues duty pump. So a 30 minute maximum runtime. Not a big deal to me, but might be for some.-High tds after being in standby so a flush is needed. I have seen the tds get down to 4 if I wait long enough, but I don't flush that much water down the sink. Which means I have to keep water containers if I want clean water without throwing away too much water to get there.-Nothing mentioned about ice maker hookup in ad that I could find. I noticed the pump cycling on-off when the ice maker was filling so I purchased a small 1/4 gallon pressure tank that mitigated the issue.-I put a pressure gauge on the outlet water line and the pressure that the booster pump shuts down pegs my psi pressure gauge at over 100psi then settling down to about 100psi after awhile(my pressure gauge goes to 100psi). While its running it is not that high a pressure, but I did not check running pressure. I am using all high pressure rated fittings and water line like at the t-junction(spigot and ice maker) just in case. The on and off pressure at the outlet should be in the specs. At least I could not find it if it is.Edit: I checked the water pressure between the tank and the ice maker with a gauge after I added the small tank and my input pressure is about 40psi and now the shutoff pressure is around 40 psi too. The tank changed the cutoff pressure from over 100psi to 40. Hmm. Don't know why but I suggest at least a small tank. I use 1/4 gallon.Positives: Easy install of filters. Fairly quite for a booster pump system. I ran a booster pump and a permeate pump on a 20 gallon tank system for years so I know there not silent.Fast water flow rate, more than a 75gpd ro system with a 20 gallon tank at 60psi and it stays high(at least for 30 minutes at a time).Neutral: Since I am having to add a small tank and my old ro tank was not under the sink to start with, the space savings is nil with subtracting a pressure pump and a permeate pump but adding a small tank.-I also bought water stands and water dispensers for 5 gallons of water storage. I fill the dispensers by having a t-fitting under the sink and running a 1/4 inch line with a on/off valve at the end of it to the dispensers. I won't move water dispensers around the kitchen. One thing I noticed, getting the water from the 2 gallon glass dispenser is way faster than the RO spigot even if the RO membrane has already been flushed. So lose time filling the dispensers, but gain time filling the drink glasses. I also added a one way check valve to the reject water line(so in case the sink ever gets plugged) and a inline post carbon filter. Now its just how long it will last before parts needed and a parts list to find them if available. My old tank RO system was about 25 years old with easy replacement or add on parts if needed.Edit: Before with the tank system, I would add unfiltered water from the faucet back into the RO water to raise tds for making coffee(for flavor) and RO water is corrosive on metal parts. The RO spigot is not used after I fill the water dispensers except for filling the coffee maker's tank, so the tds after filling the coffee machine tank without flushing first will be around 100-125 which is fine for coffee and I don't have to mix RO water with tap water. That was something I wasn't expecting when I purchased this unit. Plus it keeps water flowing through the RO system every day or two between water canister filling. I also added a camera so I can watch the filling of the water canisters from the comfort of my office chair :-)

Sleek system to obtain lots of RO water

This is an excellent RO system. I wanted RO water with low TDS for my faucet and to feed a DI-water filtration system to obtain RO/DI water, thus extending the life of the DI-water filter by decreasing the salt load in the water source and reducing the fouling that occurs by microbe contamination (RO membranes filter microorganisms as only water molecules can pass, whereas DI resins do not). My tap water is decent, coming at about 105-125 ppm TDS.I bought the RO800G system, which claims an output of 800 gallons per day. I measured the output several times and always obtained 0.60 gallons per minute, which equals 864 gallons per day. So, their claim is even conservative. You can fill a cup or a jar with water in no time. More importantly, the water comes at 4-5 ppm TDS after the RO filter. Even with this low TDS, the water tastes great. Note that TDS levels or pH are best measured with an inline probe, where the water is running unexposed to the atmosphere during the measurement for the most accurate results.Installation was straightforward. The push to connect/disconnect joints makes it really easy. The unit fitted under a crowded sink, so that made me happy. The pump makes some noise when water is being filtered, but it does not bother me.I wanted to extend the use of the RO system to feed other devices with RO water, including an ice maker. However, the system would not work very well for that. So I called iSpring customer support to see if there was a workaround. Nick on the phone was great and helped me with implementing an easy solution. He was very kind and knowledgeable about water filtration and iSpring systems. So I rate customer support five stars. Finally, installing the filters was very easy. Apparently, replacing the filters is very easy, too, as you don't have to have a special tool to struggle to unscrew the filters as you have to do with the most common simple filters found under kitchen sinks. With this system, you don't even have to shut off the water before replacing the filter. I look forward to testing that. The blue light on the faucet, indicating that the system is working, is cool too. Overall, I'm very happy with this sleek tankless RO system, which is performing better than I wished for.

Great purchase.

Title: My kids actually drink more water nowGot this for the remineralization and it delivers. The water has a nice mouthfeel, not flat like regular RO water. My kids drink more water now which is a win. The system runs quietly and the auto-flush takes care of itself. I also appreciate how much space it saves under the sink – no big tank to work around. Customer service was responsive when I had a setup question too. Solid system overall.

Clean water, no complaints

Really happy with this system. The water quality is noticeably better-my coffee tastes smoother and I don’t get that chalky residue in my kettle anymore. I love that the faucet shows the TDS reading so I can see it’s actually working. Water flow is strong, much better than the old unit I had. It’s quiet too, I barely notice it running. Good purchase.

Don’t do it

I bought this in large part due to the countless people raving about their customer service in the reviews. I have not found that to be the case at all. I realized that this system doesn’t remineralize the water and that the issues my family has been having could be due to a lack of magnesium from this. I called and emailed ispring. I left probably 3 messages. No one ever called or emailed back. I was interested in possibly attaching a remineralization filter to this system. Or trying to make it work. Unfortunately now I’m thinking I just have to trash it and get something else. It’s very disappointing. Such a waste of money. Just a warning, not remineralizing your water can really cause issues. Don’t get this RO system. I wish I knew this before I bought it.
