Great support

We were having problems with scale buildup. I called the number and actually got a helpful human through ISpring Suppot Sean. He suggested that we trade out the CA filter for a CB filter. Sean sent the filter and its been in for about one week. The scale build-up is gone! Sean was so helpful knowledgeable and efficient!! Once again we have a fully functionally system! Thank you Sean

Actual customer service! (Unlike other companies)

I had purchased a tankless Waterdrop filter 2 years back and it recently crapped out for no good reason. I tried calling their customer service and no one answered or emailed back. Decided to go with Ispring. I called the company and spoke with Jonathon who helped immensely with answering all of my questions so I can confidently place my order.

Fabulous Unit and Service

The iSpring RO500-BN was installed in October 2025 when the kitchen was completely remodeled. The water coming from the beautiful brushed nickel faucet tastes wonderful. When I called customer service to learn which replacement filters were needed I spoke with Nick. He was professional and thoughtful in explaining what the unit needed and that the button lit up in pink/purple is an alert for purchasing a replacement filter. Nick is a terrific resource and I am so grateful that he was available at the moment I called. Moreover Nick responded to my email as well. iSpring makes products that are reliable and worth the cost: two other family members have their units in their homes for the last several years.

Very happy with this unit

I got this about 2 weeks ago. Installation was easy (except for having to run power to the cabinet under the sink). The videos helped a lot. I had a number of questions and Sean provided answers making my understanding of the system better. His responses were quick and helpful.Water quality is better than expected. I replaced my old GE RO water filter when I was relocated to the Netherlands a few years ago. The old system was OK but it was very unpractical and tedious to replace the 3 filters. Then got the RO500 model from iSpring. It really enoy the space-saving and the simplicity of the filter replacement. In NL one is worried about the nitrates & water taste. These unit provides my family with safe cleaned tasty water for aobut 1year. Last month while replacing our kitchen sink the unit broke down. I contacted ISPring and Francis (Cust Serv) immediately reacted to me and send us a replacement unit. Considering that I am stationed overseas I could not believe their great & fast service. I installed it and it's' working perfectly. I am so please with this product's quality and the company's support that I recommend it to anyone that likes to drink cleaned safe water. You cannot go wrong . Thank you Francis and iSpring!

I have an RO500 connected to a T11M tank which produces a high flow rate for filling containers and 5-gallon water bottles. The system has worked great for just about 3 years. Recently Nick in iSpring service helped me make a minor adjustment. iSpring's products and post-sale support a superb.

I would like to give a big shout out to Francis for providing excellent service. I purchased my RO500 system through Amazon last month. Then later found out it was not working when installed. Francis was very prompt in providing answers back to my request. Then shipped me a brand new unit to replace my original unit. The system is now working flawless and I am more extremely satisfied with the customer service Francis had provided. Will definitely recommend the product to friends and family.

Our municipality uses well water so our water is extremely hard (~400 TDS). We love the fact that this filter is very clean looking easy to install low amount of wastewater and with the integrated pump it does generate a high enough water pressure that it can feed the ice maker and the water dispenser in our fridge through nearly 20 feet of hose. I found out that iSpring started offering the same unit with an alkaline filter (that puts back into the water to beneficial minerals that the RO process removes). Fortunately after consulting with the sales team I found out that the only difference between the two units is the 3rd stage filter. So by ordering the alkaline 3rd stage filter we were able to "convert" our system to the alkaline model. We are currently using the filter for all of our ice drinking water and for cooking.

This unit is perfect if you don't have alot of room under your sink. It was easy to hook up and I had filtered water very quickly after initial setup. I like having the TDS monitor on the faucet. Filters are easy to change out and the unit lets you know when time to replace. Highly recommend this unit.

Love this system. My wife cat parrot two one hundred pound dogs and myself drink this water. As you can imagine we drink a lot of water between all of us and have never had any issues. We are on a community well and the water quality is always concerning. We don't worry about the water with this system it always taste great and it takes up half the space as a normal storage tank system.

My father bought me this RO500 unit as a gift. The water in the city I was living in smelled like a swimming pool. I moved to the country and the water is yellow and smells like rotten eggs. In both cases my TDS went from several hundred to less than ten. No smell no worries just crystal clean water. I have also talked with customer service to discover CB and CA filter are interchangeable they were great with my inquiries. I have since purchased UV11-A and highly recommend it as well. Thank you iSpring and thank you Dad!!

FAQs

Are tankless reverse osmosis systems worth it?

Yes.
The tankless reverse osmosis system has built-in booster pumps and high output filters. Plus, it has a higher pure to drain ratio than traditional reverse osmosis water filters. Therefore, a reverse osmosis system is an excellent choice for water treatment to meet the daily clean water needs. Also, the tankless RO system frees more space in the under-sink storage area.

Do I need a reverse osmosis water filter?

A reverse osmosis water filtration system can protect you and your family's health from pollutants in tap water. The RO filtration system can reduce the chemical contaminants that the typical carbon filters cannot effectively eliminate. This under sink water filtration system effectively removes TDS, limescale, up to 99% of over 1,000 contaminants, including lead (removes up to 98%), chlorine, fluoride, arsenic, asbestos, calcium, sodium, and more.

Is RO water safe to drink long term?

Simply put, Yes. The residential Reverse Osmosis system can remove up to 99% of over 1,000 harmful contaminants like chlorine, fluoride, arsenic, asbestos, calcium, sodium, lead (removes up to 98%) and more, but it will also remove some beneficial minerals. However, water is not a main source of our body minerals. You can find how much minerals you will get from water in Bureau of Reclamation (USBR). Most of the minerals intake is always from daily food and diet. However, there are many issues of drinking water that you should concern, such as chlorine, fluoride, arsenic, asbestos, calcium, sodium, lead and more. These contaminants that under sink Reverse Osmosis system removes can have a long-run risk of your health.

Do you need a tank for this under sink Reverse Osmosis?

Traditional reverse osmosis (RO) water filtration systems usually need a tank to store pressurized water to meet the immediate water needs when you turn on the faucet. Secondly, the storage tank will also help with the system's operation. The RO storage tank will keep the pressure for the reverse osmosis machine and automatically turn on / off the system by monitoring the waterline pressure.

Do tankless RO systems work?

Tankless reverse osmosis (RO) water filtration systems are the latest version of the RO water systems. This water system is easier to use and maintain. With state-of-the-art technology, the tankless RO filtration system product purifies water more efficiently. For example, the RO500 membrane is rated at 500 gallons per day with up to 2:1 pure water to wastewater ratio and a flow rate of up to 0.4 gallons per minute, which is 4x more efficient than a traditional reverse osmosis water system. This tankless RO machine also features real-time water quality monitoring, filter change indicator, and quick filter replacement, making it one of the most advanced RO water filtration systems.

What is the Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration?

The reverse osmosis (RO) water filtration technique is one of the most effective filtration devices. The process works by forcing water through an RO membrane that removes most toxins from large sediments to small contaminants like THMs.

RO systems use a series of filters to clean water for specific impurities. This makes the RO water purifier highly versatile and customizable for your local water source and the containments you are concerned about.

How does the tankless reverse osmosis system work?

Tankless Reverse Osmosis (RO) Filtration Systems are the latest iteration of the RO water filter. As the name suggests, a tankless RO system is a RO system that can operate without a tank.

Except for the absence of storage tanks, a tankless RO filtration system works almost the same as a traditional RO system-water is pushed through a semi-permeable membrane to remove impurities and contaminants. All types of RO systems rely on inlet water pressure to push water through the filter bed in the filtration system.

The low flow rate of the traditional RO water filtration system does not eliminate the long waiting time for the RO water. As our living standards improve, we have introduced an upgraded RO water filtration system with a high storage capacity and no water tank. The most significant advantage of this drinking water filtration system is that it eliminates the pressure tank, thereby saving a lot of space under the sink and eliminating the secondary pollution caused by the storage tank.

Families with limited space can benefit significantly from tankless RO systems; they will not take up too much space like traditional RO systems.

The size of the tankless RO system is about 1/3 of the traditional RO system; the installation simplicity is twice that of a typical filter. These devices are easier to manage, more compact, and produce fresher water. We use built-in booster pumps and a tankless design, making this Reverse Osmosis water purification system easily fit and save under sink space.

Do you need to run the water for a certain period of time before it filters effectively? I’ve heard that can be a problem with tankless systems.

Both traditional and tankless RO water systems will need to rinse for first-time use. First, plug in the RO500, turn on the feed water adapter, and turn on the faucet. Then, rinse the RO membrane for 5 minutes. And turn on the faucet and let it run for at least 30 minutes to flush the system.

Will this Reverse Osmosis water filter system remove the sodium that is produced from salt based water softeners?

RO500 tankless reverse osmosis water system will remove sodium from the source water. Reverse osmosis membrane removes lead (up to 98%), chlorine, fluoride, arsenic, hormones, asbestos, calcium, sodium, and more with its 0.0001 (one ten-thousandth) micron.

How often do you change the filter?

Stages 1 & 3 are good for one year, and stage 2 is good for two-three years. If you have any questions or need additional assistance, please contact us at [email protected] or call us at (678) 261-7611.

Is the finish on the faucet brushed nickel or is it chrome?

The faucet comes in brushed nickel by default. We have them in chrome if you would like to swap them out. If you would like to do that, please give us a call or send us an email. If you have any questions or need additional assistance, please contact us at [email protected] or call us at (678) 261-7611.

Where is the \"filter service life\" button? I cannot find it anywhere on this machine.

On the front of your system, above the bottom filter, three buttons light up; these three buttons are your filter service life buttons. Each filter service life button has some writing that corresponds to one of the three stages. To reset a filter:

Previous firmware-
1. Hold down the corresponding button for three seconds.
2. Wait for it to beep.
3. Hold it down for another three seconds till it beep. Once this is done, the filter has been reset.

New firmware-
1. Hold down the corresponding button for three seconds.
2. Wait for it to beep.
3. Once this is done, the filter has been reset.

If you have any questions or need additional assistance, please contact us at [email protected] or call us at (678) 261-7611.

Does this Reverse Osmosis filter remove bacteria from source water?

The membrane of this RO water filtration system is 0.0001 microns, small enough to filter out most bacteria and viruses. Still, the system is not designed to disinfect your water or treat it for microorganisms. If your water contains bacteria or other microorganisms we recommend treating this issue directly at the source instead before using any water filters.
