Introducing WSP-J Series

The WSP-J series spin down sediment filter is the first line defense to your appliances. It protects and extends the life of your standard filters by removing the large dirt, sand, and rust particles before they reach the rest of your plumbing system, including water softeners and expensive appliances.

Easy Maintenance

The WSP series is flushable and reusable. It is recommended to flush it regularly (daily or weekly), depending on the water usage, sediment amount and the hardness level. However, as hardness tends to form hard scale that clogs the screen, simple flushes may not be sufficient. When necessary, remove the stainless steel cartridge and clean it with a brush and/or soak it in vinegar.

I am disappointed they just fold the drain hose and kink it very badly in 3 places its not useable like that plus it looks bad even if you try to get the kinks out it will never be like new for $450 dollars I expect better .

Customer service is awesome

Bought this to filter out sediment from our well & it's done the job! The only downsides are that the flush valve as well as the plastic wrench that came with it both broke at separate times. Fortunately Nick with iSpring customer service has been sooo helpful to me & sent me replacements ASAP. Always appreciate having attentive customer service reps for things like this so they actually last in our home!

FAQs

What size tube does the flush valve use?

The flush valve uses 3/8” OD tubing.

Will I lose any water pressure after installing this filter?

You shouldn't notice any drop in pressure after installing this filter.

Is a sediment filter necessary?

Spin down filters are generally recommended for use with well water or if you have high amounts of sediment. City water or Municipal water sources usually do not have high levels of residue but can have sediment issues; it depends on the quality of the source water and sediment that needs to be removed from the source water.

Can water filters be cleaned and reused?

Yes. iSpring Spin Down Sediment Filters can be flushed, cleaned, and reused.

How do you filter sediment out of water?

The best solution will be installing a sediment filter.

How does a spin down sediment filter work?

The iSpring spin-down sediment filter is the first line of defense for your plumbing system, faucets, and appliances. Removing dirt, sand, and rust particles protects and extends the life of your standard filters. It also prevents the faucets from being damaged by “grinding.” Statistics show that it saves up to 20% of water consumption from being wasted by “dripping faucets” in commercial and public buildings.

How do I know which size cartridge to order? 50, 100, 200 ,500 micron?

The size cartridge you’ll need to order depends on the size and the amount of sediment it will have to treat. The smaller sizes will remove the most sediment, but excess or large particles can clog them quickly and require frequent flushing. If you notice that you need frequent flushing, consider using a larger size screen and using additional treatment after the sediment filter to catch the fine particles.
