Do I still need a water softener if my water is hard?
Yes. Our WGB31B-PFKS whole house water filter system does not reduce hardness. It is recommended to install a water softener, such as the iSpring WCS45KG model, after this system if your TDS level is above 300 ppm.
What contaminants can this system remove?
Turbidity, visible particulate matter, sand, silt, dirt, rust, chlorine, taste, odor, THMs, VOCs, heavy metals, lead, mercury, hydrogen sulfide, PFAS (including PFOA and PFOS) and more.
Can I install this system outdoors?
Install indoors in a well-ventilated area, shielded from wind and rain, away from direct sunlight and heat. Consider water leakage protection. For outdoor installation, ensure insulation for frost, sun, and waterproofing for both unit and pipes.
Can I use this system if my water flow is from left to right?
Yes, you can. However, please note that the inlet/outlet marking on the system is fixed, so you will need to flip the machine head to accommodate this setup. To do this, simply unscrew the screws on the machine head and flip it.

Stage 1 uses a high-capacity FP15B sediment filter to capture dirt, rust, and sand down to 5 microns, protecting plumbing and extending filter life. Stage 2’s FC15B-PF filter uses SGS-tested media to remove up to 99% of PFAS, including PFOA and PFOS. Stage 3 features the FG15B-KS filter, combining KDF and GAC media to reduce chlorine, lead, mercury, hydrogen sulfide, and other harmful chemicals. With a filtration capacity of up to 50,000 gallons and easy DIY installation, this system is built for lasting performance. Compatible with most standard home plumbing, it comes with individually sealed cartridges and U.S.-based customer support for added peace of mind.
