Our products are tested annually to remove up to 99.99% of harmful contaminants that commonly appear in municipal and well water. All filters, tanks, tubing and other water-contacting parts are manufactured to comply strictly with NSF/ANSI standard (58 for reverse osmosis).

RCC1UP Performance

The RCC1UP is a pressure-boosted, multi-layered filter system that removes over 1,000 different types of contaminants, including arsenic, asbestos, chlorine, hormones, fluoride, lead, mercury, sodium, and more.

This is a suitable option when the home water pressure is low (below 40 PSI).

  • 3 Pre-filters: PP sediment filter. Carbon KDF (GAC) filter. Carbon block (CTO) filter. They remove large contaminants and protect the RO membrane from chemicals like chlorine and chloramines.
  • The heart of the system is the Reverse Osmosis (RO) filter that removes contaminants down to 0.0001 microns – so small that only water molecules can squeeze through but virtually nothing else.
  • Fine GAC filter provides final polishing before the filtered water is delivered to the faucet.
  • A powerful 11 watt Ultraviolet UV stage provides an additional level of filtration.
  • The end result is bottled-water quality, with no 'hardness' and no sodium.

The advantage of having both 5-micron GAC & CTO filter is that the loose carbon (GAC) can trap large contaminants, leaving only smaller ones to the CTO carbon block filter. This allows the CTO filter and RO membrane to function longer.

I had the more basic 5 stage filter system (which also worked great) but I wanted to upgrade to this model. Francis from customer support was able to help me out and allowed me to upgrade to this unit for a great deal. The filter system works great. The pump is very quiet and water tastes great.

I bought mine 10 years ago May 13th 2011 and it is still working great. Everyone says we have the best drinking water. I have taken the water for testing 5 times since its purchase with great results. It has only had 2 parts that broke the plastic elbows on either end of the UV lamp cracked when they turned brittle from the UV so I replaced them with Brass fittings about 6 years ago. I am so glad to have purchased it and the quality and price can not be beat. I have had to use their support and was very happy with it.
